16mm 2 Core SWA Cable Per Metre is generally used for garden lighting circuits, supplying mains power to outhouses or sheds over longer distances, plus many more! There is a steel wire armour below the outer sheath, making it resistant to damage. This armour can also be used as a secondary Earth (CPC). This cable also adheres to all the relevant British standards, making it perfectly safe.

Our in-house electrician Stuart recommends using this cable for supplying mains power to an outbuilding. For this job we recommend wiring the cable directly into the mains and then burying the cable underground. The cable will require outdoor CW20 glands for termination into whichever applications require it, as well as CC9 cable clips for attaching to any walls or surfaces.
