SWA CAT5E Cable Per Metre – This high quality network cable has a galvanised steel wire armour below the outer sheath to protect the cores below. As it is category 5, it supports internet speeds of up to 1000mbps, making it perfect for any modern connections.
You’d ordinarily use this cable to connect two RJ45 (ethernet) sockets. For example, you’d plug your router into the ethernet socket in the house, run this cable from that socket to another ethernet socket in an outhouse, garage or shed for example. This would provide you with a high speed connection without requiring WiFi extenders or boosters. As the cable is armoured, it is protected from the elements meaning it can be used outdoors.
